Description

The GemDent ApexDrive One Gold System represents the next generation of reciprocating endodontics. Engineered for clinicians who prioritize a streamlined workflow, these files are designed for a single-file shaping technique.

Crafted from advanced Gold heat-treated NiTi alloy, ApexDrive One Gold provides an ideal balance of extreme flexibility and cyclic fatigue resistance. This system significantly reduces torsional stress, allowing for safe, predictable, and efficient canal preparation across a wide range of morphologies.

⏱️ The "One Gold" Advantage: Single-File Technique

ApexDrive One Gold is specifically optimized for reciprocating motion. This allows the clinician to shape the majority of canals using only one primary file after establishing a glide path, drastically reducing chair time while maintaining superior apical control.

🚀 Performance Features

  • Advanced Gold NiTi Alloy: Proprietary heat treatment increases flexibility and provides a 200% boost in fatigue resistance.

  • Reciprocating Motion Optimized: Specifically engineered to work with reciprocating motors to "counter-rotate," reducing the risk of file "screwing-in" or binding.

  • Simplified Workflow: A true single-file system that minimizes instrument changes and simplifies the endodontic sequence.

  • High-Capacity Flute Design: Large, precision-cut flutes ensure rapid debris removal and prevent apical plugging.

  • Anatomical Adaptability: Excellent "controlled memory" allows the file to follow curved and moderately complex paths with ease.

  • Universal Reciprocating Compatibility: Designed for use with most major reciprocating endodontic motors.

📊 Technical Specifications

📏 Size Selection Guide

  • Small (20/.07 - Yellow): For narrow or severely curved canals.

  • Primary (25/.07 - Red): The "Workhorse" — suitable for the majority of root canals.

  • Medium (35/.06 - Green): For moderately wide canals.

  • Large (45/.05 - White): For wide canals or distal/palatal roots.

⚠️ Clinical Guidelines & Safety

Instrumentation Protocol

  • The "Pecking" Motion: Use a gentle in-and-out "pecking" motion (approx. 3 mm amplitude). Never force the file apically.

  • Progression: Do not attempt to reach the working length in a single pass. After 3 pecks, withdraw, clean the flutes, and irrigate.

  • Glide Path: Always establish a reproducible glide path (minimum ISO #15) before using the ApexDrive One Gold.

  • Pressure: Apply minimal apical pressure. If resistance is met, withdraw immediately, irrigate, and recapitulate.

Maintenance & Inspection

  • Single-Use Strongly Recommended: Due to the high cyclic fatigue associated with reciprocating motion, single-use is the clinical gold standard for safety.

  • Visual Inspection: Clean flutes frequently. Discard any file showing signs of unwinding or wear immediately.

  • Chemical Exposure: Avoid prolonged immersion in high-concentration sodium hypochlorite.

Patient Safety Note: Contains Nickel-Titanium. Do not use on patients with known nickel allergies.
